On every Muslim there is enjoined (a compulsory) Sadaqa (alms)
589. Narrated Aboo moosa(Al-Ash’aree) (radhi Allaahu anhu) : The Prophet (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,
“On every Muslim there is enjoined (a compulsory) Sadaqa (alms). “
They (the people) asked, “If one has nothing?”
Hesaid, “He should work with his hands so that he may benefit himself and give in charity.”They said, “If he cannot work or does not work?”
He said, “Then he should help the oppressed unhappy person (by word or action or both).”They said, “If he does not do it?”
He said, “Then he should enjoin what is good, or said, enjoin Al-Ma’roof (i.e. Islaamic Monotheism and all that Islaam ordians).”They said, “If he does not do that?”
He said, “Then he should refrain from Ash-shar (doing evil – e.g. practising polytheism of different kinds and all that is evil and bad), for that will be considered for him as a Sadaqa (charity).

Superiority of Planting Trees or Sowing Seeds
1001. Narrated Anas bin Maalik (radhi Allaahu anhu) : Allah’s Messenger (Sallallaahu Alaihi Vasallam) said,
There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is regarded as an act of charity for him

Spend (O man), and I shall spend on you
580. Narrated Aboo Huraira (radhi Allaahu anhu) : Allaah’s Messenger (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,
Allaah (Subhaanahu wata’alaa) said, ‘Spend (O man), and I shall spend on you.’ ” He also said, “Allaah’s Hand is full and (its fullness) is not affected by the continuous spending night and day.” He also said, “Do you see what He has spend since He created the heavens and the earth? Nevertheless, what is in His Hand is not decreased, and His Throne was on the water and in His Hand there is the balance (of justice), whereby He raises and lowers (people).
