“It is affirmed from the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) that he said: May Allah curse he who does the action of the people of Lut; may Allaah curse he who does the action of the people of Lut; may Allah curse the one who does the action of the people of Lut.” ((Graded Saheh by Al-Albaanee in Saheeh At-Targheeb wat-Tarheeb)
Imaam Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said, commenting upon this Hadeeth: “There has not come from him (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) a curse upon the fornicator three times within one Hadeeth. He cursed a group of the people of major sins, but it did not go beyond one curse (in a single Hadeeth). However, he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) repeated the curse three times for the one who does the action of the people of Lut. ”
