“Ibn Umar (radi Allahu anhu) said, The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) took me by my shoulder and said, “Be in this life as if you are a stranger or a wayfarer.” Ibn Umar used to say, “In the evening do not expect to live to the morning, and in the morning do not expect to live to the evening. Take from your health for your illness and from your life for your death.” [Sahih al-Bukhari]”
